Thank you for such an interesting. A friend suggested I try this practise as it has helped her. I found your article so informative in describing the actual process.

I'm so glad that it has being beneficial to you. Living with hyperviligilence is exhausting, to soften that is a real gift.

Your writing comes across with a gentle authority already, I'm looking forward to seeing how it will blossom in time 🪴

Thank you, Suzanne. 💜 I really appreciate you taking the time to read and respond.

I hope I’ll write more about it. Over time, I’ve come to realize that the depth of the memory we work on in EMDR affects how intense the process feels.

It can be very intense and demands a lot of self-care, but I still feel it’s worth it.

If you ever decide to try it, I hope you’ll find it supportive.🪴✨️

Thank you once again — especially for your words about the writing. They’re arriving at a time when I really needed them.

Thank you for being so open in this piece and sharing your journey. The part of the piece that grabbed me the most was the self narrative prose, the show, don't tell. Your heart shines through the back lit pixels in those sections.

Thank you, Jesse, for sharing your impression in such a considered and generous way — it means a lot to me.🍁✨️

It confirms something I care about: showing the process while it’s still alive, still moving, inside me.

I take your presence and your words as a sign of the direction I should keep following.

I’m truly grateful.🤎

Yay!

Your response affirmed I'm doing my work too 😇

Honored to share such positive moments with another who has found their path to recovery is The Path so many others try so hard to find.

Thank you for being you Dana,

😊🤗

I feel a genuine 'I see you', 'I value you' in your presence, and that is deeply soothing.

In a space this wide, signs of warmth and humanity seem to echo more strongly — and mean even more. Thank you!

You've made it to shore, likely by the help of others. Now that you are here, you are building your own lighthouse to help even more still in the storm.

Keep it up, whether we know it or not, we are ALL role modeling for others.

Thank you for sharing. The fact that you focused on your experience rather than medicalising it will certainly enable the piece to resonate with readers. While I have not had first hand experience, a friend of mine had and speaks very highly of it and the benefits that it can have in regulating your nervous system.
